I'm having a lot of fun painting these little French chairs!

I'm working on a commission for a wonderful client in Alaska.

She asked for three Himalayan Blue Poppies, each 11" x 14".

I sent her these progress photos today.

She wrote back that she's very excited and so am I.

I love to paint twisting turning petals and you

know I love these colors!

I'll post more on these later.

 Whew!  Racing to a deadline with this, but I'm very happy with the painting.

The snake is back!

 

He's just a little garden snake, but 

he's grown since last year.

 

Jack discovered him and meowed

to get my attention.

 

He was then captivated!

 

Buster looked at the snake briefly

and then resumed his scheduled nap.

We had a glorious Spring day today!

I love when the garden wakes up & tiny plants start pushing their way up.

I'm watching my lilacs, roses and hydrangeas come back to life and

my tree peony looks very promising again this year.

We put the screens in the windows and had lovely warm air floating in

and happy cats on the sills.
