I read all three of these on my trip!    Each one kept me up a little too late each night, 

but I really enjoyed them.  I think I liked The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel the most.

playing with color

I've had fun playing with the color of this butterfly.

First, it became fuschia...

 

then violet,

 then blue,

 then aqua

 

and finally green.

Wouldn't they look great hung together in a display?

tree peony

My tree peony is blooming and it's spectacular!

They usually open in May but we've had an early Spring.

This year I have 18 blossoms!

Each flower is about 7" wide & so pretty.

I painted this tree peony awhile ago.

It's now available in a big 12" x 12" print in my Etsy shop.

I am really loving Spring this year!

Nature is certainly ahead of time this year.

I have irises blooming, a tree peony about to open, lilacs in bud

 and I've seen wisteria in full bloom near us.
