My Painting Room

We do not stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.

I finally have time to play! I'm newly retired from teaching and really enjoying my new life. This painting by Jesse Wilcox-Smith hangs above my painting table. It's a reminder of why I started painting...because I really love to paint. It's also a reminder to just play and enjoy the process.

  1. Hello ... its so lovely to hear from you and
things have been very difficult for me, and still are right now. My desire to paint is
so overwhelming, and yet I have not been able
to do this for a couple of months now sadly.
Its lovely to see where you paint, and especially this little painting above your desk, how lovely it is. I have done a small video of me actually painting a water colour,
do take a look, its on each of the sets on my
flickr pages ... and I hope to do another one soon. I shall take a look at the dear pussies now too ... my best wishes and its lovely to see you ... love to you all ...Bev
