I'm just posting one picture for Deck The Halls (my halls are finally decked, but didn't take pictures yet!). I went to Paris this spring & wanted to decorate my mantle with my little Eiffel Tower. I've had the print above the mantle for several years. Now, to see my decorating the tree challenge, look here.
What a pretty vignette!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat is just gorgeous, I love the frenchy feel and how it turned out too! Cindy

Carol-Thanks so much for joining "the party"! I love your print and the village is just perfect on the mantel with it. I laughed about Jack :) My son's springer spaniel puppy had a "pine cone incident" today--no more pine cones for decorations!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and so different! Love it!

Beautiful, and so far, cat-free!
ReplyDeleteCarol, What a clever correlation between the painting and your decorated mantel! Lovely how it is backlit.
ReplyDeleteRead your post on the cats... Too funny is that little Jack and his tattle-tale brother, Buster!

It is great to decorate with things that mean something to us. Joyeux Noel.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving a comment today. I think your mantle is wonderful and the Eiffel Tower looks like it was made for that spot.
Just beautiful, I have never thought of doing anything like that. Sooo unique!! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteOh exquisite!!!Love it I'll be round for some egg-nog and a good sit and gaze.
ReplyDeleteI love the little Eiffel tower. It's so peaceful. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThe only place I go is Home Goods, LOL..I don't want a pic of that though on my mantle!!
Lovely and I am sure you are reliving wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today.
Come back any time ;-)
So pretty. I love it when things are just a little different. That is just lovely and such treasured memories.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome how you have made the painting and mantle become one. My daughter was in France two years ago and LOVED it! She wants to go back as soon as possible. They were at the Eiffel tower at night, just like in your pic.
ReplyDeleteOh Carol your mantel is beautiful, but I could just crawl right into that painting. There's something about Paris, I can only imagine how gorgeous it is at Christmas.

Just stopped back to say, I bought your beautiful Eiffel Tower from your etsy shop. My sister will be thrilled, she went to Paris last year and fell in love.

The Eiffel Tower is all aglow (just like the real thing at night) on your mantle...I can tell you are an artist as this a very creative display! It looks so lovely with the French scene in the background.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art everywhere!
Best wishes, Natasha.
LOVE the mantle! It's so pretty and well thought out and the Eiffel Tower is so meaningful and precious. Also like how the mantle decorations work with the painting above...very nice!
ReplyDeleteI love your Paris theme. I, too, loved Paris. Hope you have a great holiday.

ReplyDeletehow clever putting your village in front of a painting like that!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIt's all so BEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I went to Paris in 1999. I was impressed at how much bigger the Eiffel tower is than it looks like in photos.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful new year.
