Enough!

What a winter!

white...white...white... it snowed again...

and the possibility of more snow later this week.

I am ready for some green,

like in my little bed of grape hyacinths,

getting ready to bloom in my sun room.

I have a Spring garden on my table

giving me a little sunshine.

Even my African violet is contributing to this tiny flower show.

We need to have more lovely colors

and blossoms..

... and maybe a nap.
Have a warm & cozy weekend!

  2. Your wintry wonderland photos are lovely, but I'd be tired of it too and love the way you've created some Spring color indoors. Love your lazy kitty. It's been raining since last night in Southern California, but SPRING has arrived in my front yard ... earlier than ever this year!
    Hugs and blessings,

  4. Hello sweet lady...

I just had to come by to let you know that I received my pkg. yesterday! My friend, I wished you could have been here to see me open it! I literally squealed with delight as I unwrapped those sweet little silver birds!!! Ohhh...they are just precious!!! They have already found a home on my bar (between my kitchen and dining room) along side of my large apothecary jar filled with those silver mercury glass ornaments! They look sooo perfect in that vignette!!! I'm just ecstatic!!! As I mentioned before, I have actually been shopping for a pair of silver birds since I have been using so much silver to decorate with lately! They are perfect!!! I have to tell you that I really enjoyed your pretty wrapping with the beautiful aqua blue and brown ribbons too! I have already put them away and will use them someday for something pretty!

Well my friend, if gifting me with those sweet birds wasn't enough...I then find the cards with your gorgeous paintings!!! Carol, they are sooo beautiful!!! Thank you...thank you...thank you!!! I'm thinking of framing the cards...your art work is just fabulous!!! What sweet gifts! Everytime I see them, I will think of you!!!

My friend, we are still having winter at our place too! This morning I awoke to a very cold, foggy day! It's supposed to start snowing any minute and snow through tomorrow! I'm with you...ENOUGH already! Hehe! Although I must say that your snow photos were so very beautiful! I love the photo with the birds! Your sunroom looks like such a beautiful place to be...love all of your pretty flowers!!! They were like a breath of fresh air!!! I have a calla lily blooming right now at my place but that's it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers and all that green with us! Come on Spring!!! Hehe!

    Warmest wishes,
    Chari @Happy To Design

  8. Hello Carol,
Here too in France we are longing for spring. The winter has been particularly cold, windy, icy, stormy, snowy etc....
You have a charming spring garden to give you inspiration, isn't it ?
Thank you for your kind comments on my art blog. And to answer your question : I prefer cold pressed paper but the hot is good for illustration. :o)
