Something really different for me. I suddenly had the urge to paint a whale.
I like to change what I do every so often.
Besides the subject matter, the paper is rough and the palette is minimal (only two colors).
The paper is a natural color, not the shadowy color in the photo.
In the middle of painting I thought "this is so enjoyable".
A few more will be joining this one.
Very nice. I bought some old whale prints in 1962 in Camden Maine.
ReplyDeleteIt was an old book store. It's still there. I like the smell of the old books. Of course I don't have them anymore.
