these are my favorite flowers I think. I remember hiking in Oregon and coming across a field full of wild blooms, purple everywhere! a picture in my mind forevermore.

What a beautiful iris painting! I love how the petals in your flower paintings show the light. We have crocuses so far but must patiently wait for the rest. I have irises in my backyard. Can't wait to see them!
