Making a painting.....
a trip to a peony farm a few years ago..
a photograph..
time to draw all those petals..
a place to paint..
lovely quinacridone colors..
water that needs changing..
favorite brushes..
a long cold windy day.

  15. When one can see how the different layers of the painting stack up from the page it really shows how we paint.
    People are always amazed that the finished project has come from some basic colors laid down first then shaded and highlight to become such a pretty flower.
    Of course the talent of the painter is foremost.

Hi Carol, I just see your blog, its amazing really amazing and I think your medium is Water colour, and I its difficult medium in comparison to oil paints and silk paints, love your work really... I too paint sometime and have a passion for it... I wish i can work in watercolour too.. thanks for sharing
