This is a beautiful painting but the Rose of Sharon is a pest in the yard. I had some bushes in a garden and the little ones that come up are woody and have roots that will not let you pull them up. Those plants could take over the world!
I couldn't find your email address on your site. If you will email me I have something I would like to forward to you from Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson, the collage artist. You can look her up online.

Beautiful with the dark background. As peonies are one of my favourite flowers, I love your delicate painting.
