do you have a budding artist?


As an art teacher, I was always asked by parents 
for good drawing book recommendations.
This was my favorite.  
I taught hundreds & hundreds of children how to draw in 3-D
(they REALLY loved that!) using the basics from this book.  
It's not at all intimidating and lays the foundations for 
inventive and creative drawings with simple lines and shapes.
Ages 9-12 (I started the basics with my second graders).
224 pages of FUN!

    Hey - - - they used to have a TV show on PBS or something! My two youngest, especially my youngest, used to LOVE watching it. AND, my youngest can DRAW!!!

    Thanks for reminding me!

    I believe we checked out (from the library) some of his books from time to time too.

    BTW - - - the lovely print you gave me of your "porch" painting is right here on the dresser next to my lappy in my computer room where I can enjoy it EVERY day!!!
