season's greetings


and wishes for a wonderful holiday!


This little chickadee turned out to be our Christmas card.

I can never find much time to paint in December.
There's just too much to do.
I do love when life slows down in the deep winter
and I feel free to paint and knit and relax.

Until then...
wrapping, baking, cooking, etc, etc.
Enjoy!

    The chickadee is such a sweet bird! I have fed them seed out of my hands. I just want to squeeze them and give their precious heads a kiss :-) LOL What a lovely card to give!

    What a sweet Christmas card, Carol! I imagine that anyone lucky enough to receive it will be saving it to frame and to bring out for many Christmases to come.
    I like the mental image of you snuggling in on a snowy afternoon with your paints and inspiration gathered over the past few months.

    Your Christmas card is wonderful!
    I have the same feeling about December;
    I really like this month, but still looks forward to the quiet months of January and February with plenty of time to paint.

    Well my friend, your little chickadee made a gorgeous Christmas card...sooo very pretty! Of course, you know how I love all sweet little birds! Hehe!
