Paris Flower Market

On Sundays, the Paris flower market is in full bloom.

Just about any plant you can think of is available for your little french terrace or balcony.

The hydrangeas are in every lovely shade of pink, blue & purple.

These blooms are waiting for me to paint them.

There was a shop full of orchids...just heavenly!

Each shop looked like a garden.

Oh my, I couldn't bring anything home.

Interesting lawn ornaments, if you're in the market for a pair of fighting boars or a snapping crocodile...between your delphiniums, perhaps.

Luscious hydrangeas and fuschias!

Sweet lovebirds in the bird market.

Can you imagine shopping here?

  1. I'm betting YOU painted that artwork, am I right? I LOVE it. L-O-V-E it.

I enjoyed every picture and every word of this post.

  2. Your painting is fabulous and so are the photos and those love birds are sweet and made me SMILE:)

  3. What inspiration from the flower stalls. I bet people paint them all the time. Yours is wonderful.

  4. What a lovely place to spend some time!

  5. Great photos and I love the painting!

  6. Carol, I love your paintings. This one is so lovely.

  7. Your paintings are beautiful as are your photographs. I'd LOVE to meander through this lovely flower market ... though I'd need to take sometime for my allergies ;--)
    Hugs and blessings,
